Our Story
The journey first began when my great grandparents and grandparents moved from the Guang Dong province in Southeast China to Calcutta, India in the early 1900s. After living in India for about a decade, they decided to settle there and brought the rest of family from China. Our roots in working in the restaurant business started during the 1960s with my grandfather opening a restaurant in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in India. In 1981, we moved to Sweden where my father started working in a restaurant in the city of Vastervik. A few years later, my father took over the restaurant. Later in 1991, my wife and I joined my parents in working at their restaurant.
In 2000, our family moved again; this time to British Columbia, Canada where we settled down. We entered the restaurant business here in 2003 and have been thriving since then. From our life on three different continents and with over 40 years of experience in restaurant industry, we strive to give a unique fusion cooking experience to our customers here in Cloverdale.

Although we are known for our spiciness, we can always adjust the heat of our dishes to your liking. It is also possible to alter most of our dishes to be gluten free.
